Optimal
functioning of the intestinal barrier includes
efficient absorption of macronutrients, blockage
of potentially antigenic proteins, and effective
gut immune function via secretory IgA. Perma-Clear
combines glutamine (for cellular energy
production), N-acetylglucosamine (for mucus
enhancement), quercetin chalcone (antioxidant
and anti-inflammatory), and the unique,
beneficial probiotics Lactobacillus sporogenes
and Saccharomyces boulardii (for gut flora
normalization and increased secretory IgA
activity). We recently added Ginger to this
formula for better anti-inflammatory activity.
